Being named one of the Top Transportation Teams in America was honestly an emotional surprise. After the year we had, it wasn’t something I expected. We faced significant staff shortages that put tremendous strain on our department and challenged the positive, family-oriented environment that means so much to me as a leader.
That’s what made this recognition so meaningful. It wasn’t an award for having perfect circumstances—it was recognition of a team that refused to let adversity define them. Every driver, monitor, mechanic, router, office staff member, and supervisor continued to show up each day committed to safely serving our students despite the challenges we faced.
I was incredibly proud because this honor validated what I already knew about our team: when things get difficult, we come together instead of pulling apart. We supported one another, adapted, and never lost sight of our mission to safely transport students every day.

It’s a learning curve every day, a satisfying and enjoyable experience working to provide a safe ride to and from school for these kids.
